You can enable it through the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and it offers 5 levels of protection based on the spam score it gives to every email message depending on various parameters, such as the frequency of given words, the sender, and so on. If you keep getting spam email messages, you can always increase the level or if you’re afraid that you may miss a legitimate email, you can mix the automated filter with a custom one and redirect all emails from a given sender to another mailbox. If you reach the decision that you no longer want an email filter for a specific email account, you can disable it with just a few mouse clicks.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you use one of our semi-dedicated plans, you won’t have to worry about junk email messages cramming your mailboxes every now and then, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin spam filter that we offer with each and every semi-dedicated hosting account. Our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any email account with several mouse clicks and you can pick one of the 5 protection levels – from very low to very high. The level can be changed at any moment if, for instance, genuine email messages get blocked, or if junk email messages go through and reach your inbox. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered messages to be forwarded to a special mailbox like firstname.lastname@example.org and not to be erased. In this way, you can go through them from time to time to ensure that you haven’t missed a legitimate email message.
